Brighton News Story – 3 August, 1812: Prince Regent intends to make Pavilion his occasional residence

The Prince Regent, we are well assured, will not honour us with his presence this season, but can no doubt be entertained of its being his Royal Highness’s intention to make the Pavilion his occasional residence, as Marlborough House has been recently purchased to give extension to its conveniences.
