Brighton News Story – 1 July, 1811: A rush to finish new Pavilion buildings

The utmost activity is exerted by the workmen engaged in the completion of the riding house, and buildings contiguous to the Pavilion, soon to be the scene of elegant festivity, by the celebration of the Birthday of its illustrious owner.

The buildings referred to in this article are those that currently make up Brighton Museum, the Dome, and the Corn Exchange.
